The stage between babyhood and toddlerhood can be “interesting” to say the least.

Your child will be attempting to walk and talk, as well as learn how to feed him/herself. Potty training is another concern for parents with children of this age.

In this section there are plenty of ideas for how to sucessfully potty train your child as well as how to cope with the terrible twos.

If you have any specific problems please get in touch for advice. If you have any medical problems get in touch with your Health Visitor or GP for advice. Don’t sit home worrying about your child, get checked out. Often there will be a simple and straightforward solution to problems that arise.

Remain firm but calm with your children, making sure that you are very clear about what exactly you want them to do. Praise any good behaviour and try to ignore anything that you would rather them not do again (if at all possible)
